Elizabeth A. DeBari
Elizabeth A. DeBari graduated from The New England School of Acupuncture (NESA,Newton MA) in 2012 with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. During her extensive education she had internships offering both Acupuncture and Herbal medicine at various placements; including Pathways to Wellness (Boston), Cambridge Health Alliance (Malden), Lemuel Shattuck Hospital (Jamaica Plain) and the student clinic at The New England School of Acupuncture (NESA).
At NESA she learned and became proficient in both Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture; she also has a thorough understanding of Chinese Herbal Medicine. Her training includes customized herbal prescriptions & patent herbal medicines, along with Shakuju Therapy (non-insertion acupuncture).
Elizabeth has been immersed in alternative medicine since 2006 when she began training to become a Muscular Therapist at the Muscular Therapy Institute (MTI) in Watertown. Her combined Muscular Therapy and Oriental Medicine studies have left her with a broad understanding of the body’s musculoskeletal system and its physiological response to emotional, physical and mental stressors.
Elizabeth combines Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine to effectively treat various conditions including digestive issues, stress, chronic pain, headaches, the common cold, as well as helping to maintain a healthy immune system. Individual treatments are formulated to achieve maximum health; balancing the mind, body and spirit.
